Lady of the Lake to help with N-Sid-Sen Building Project

Ever since Randy has been camp manager at N-Sid-Sen, we have seen improvements to the facility on an annual basis. The latest project was the replacement of the wood floor in the main hall along with its expansion. This move has allowed us more eating and dancing space.

Nearly ten years ago, we approached Randy about building an outdoor dance pavilion. Many Lady of the Lake participants responded to the fund raising drive and we were able to build the pavilion. Gerry Copeland, who was on our committee at the time, designed and helped build the Lady of the Lake pavilion.

Randy and Gerry have pooled their resources again to design the New Entry Building for N-Sid-Sen. This project will cost well over a half million dollars. The United Church of Christ affiliate members have made substantial contributions and the camp is well underway towards successfully meeting the challenge.

The Entry Building will have much more than just a welcome/registration function to it. Plans include a large wooden floor, as well as two meeting rooms plus a big porch overlooking the lake. This building will be the first one cabin you see from the parking lot. It will replace the old work sheds as well as Mitchel's Cabin.

The good news is that we will have available another dance floor (four!!!) and two more music workshop spaces (now four!!!). Obviously, Lady of the Lake will participate in the fund raising efforts. We are asking past Lady of the Lake staff and campers to participate as well. Any donation, from $5 to $1,000, is greatly appreciated for our pavilion drive.

Please make the check out to:
N-Sid-Sen Camp and Conference Center

and send your check to:

We will be submitting all donations to the camp on behalf of Lady of the Lake. Each individual will then receive an acknowledgment from Randy and N-Sid-Sen.

Thanks so much for your support,
Penn, Debra, Pat, Vickie and Kathy and the rest of our committee
